THE CIRCLE OF LIFE - 2 Generations back to 3 - Strength in Numbers - Anavi Nora Rodriguez

A Few years ago, after my mothers passing I wrote a blog post. Fast forward 2 years to almost the exact date and welcome little Anavi Nora Rodriguez. My Granddaughter, and wallah we are back to 3 living generations of females. "Nora" was my mothers name and Ashley wanted to keep her light shining by giving Ana part of her name. Such an Honor!

I was able to witness the beginning stage of my daughter Ashley becoming a mother. I watched her face struggles with persistence and triumph. I watched her plug along no matter how hard the task was as a new mother, she refused to give up on being the best Mom to Anavi she could be. As I watched her I could see me as a young Mom and realized I have taken on the special role my Mom once had, being a Lola (Grandma). I'm so proud of the Strong woman Ashley has grown to be, The leader she is as a soldier, and the strength she has discovered from the love and compassion of having Ana.

My wish for you Anavi Nora Rodriguez is that the torch of love, compassion, empathy, strength and kindness that Great Lola Nora passed to me, Ashley will hand off to you. I can't wait to witness all the things in life you will contribute. Go out and do big things Princess! Lola is already so proud of you! With all My Love, Grandma
